It’s amazing what men can accomplish. Feats especially when performed by young people are sure to be immortalized in people’s memories. Every once in a while they come along, folks - who shout CAN or POSSIBLE amidst cries of can’t and impossible. In this league belongs Jay Adams. As a young man he rocked the imagination of many a skateboard fans with his innovative moves. His moves were always intense and full of vigor. He was one of the rare ones who never did any move, the same way twice. Jay Adams was the epitome of spontaneity and fluidity that defied convention yet was art displayed.

Jay Adam’s life is truly inspiring, a masterpiece portraying the great work of God. With a convicted drug addict as a father, Jay joined the ranks of bitter youngsters who came from broken families. His stepfather introduced him to surfing and skating. Despite his success, he too became a convict like his biological dad. But God, the master artesian never gave up on him. He is now a witness for the Christ that He has embraced while in prison. God has stepped in and set in order a broken life, making it like new.

A vocalist/ guitarist had given a solution on how to resolve the falling CD sales in our music industry nowadays.

Tom DeLonge, former band member of Blink-182, who toured Singapore with his new rock band Angels and Airwaves lately, said: “When we created Angels and Airwaves, there was no way for us to have an outlet for feature films, documentaries and 'live' broadcasts. (But) we wanted to do it all ourselves. So I came up with this idea and we actually pulled it off.”

Tom is talking about his social networking site with an important upgrade – ModLife.

"It gives operating systems to bands to be able to create revenue at the click of a button for themselves, whether it's selling their own music or pay-per- view events or subscription revenue, and it also has a free social network for the fans to have their own websites," Tom said.

The guitarist and vocalist explained that the reason of wanting for such an outlet came about due to his band wanted the capability to utilize their music on different ways, without a help of a third party.

"We've already pretty much dealt with the fact that records don't sell. With something like ModLife, we actually have a steady pay cheque that comes from that. It allows us to make a living to some degree, but I think we just got to keep on hiking through the trenches," Tom added.

Doing online is not a first in the industry of music, but being able to carry out ‘live’  broadcasts online from wherever you are is something independent bands/ celebrity in the past had no access to, unless a third party will help them.

So why don’t you guys check out this cool Tom DeLonge Video in Youtube. I found this at Entertainment and Celebrity Galley.

Tom DeLongeAngels & Airwaves, they have the talent and will soon change the face of rock n’ roll.

According to Tom: “Right now, I’m a song and a half from finishing the greatest album of my career, and i swear it’s going to be something that will compete with the greatest rock records of all time. Within two years, we’ll be the biggest rock act in the world. There’s never been a rock band from America that sounds like us. And I hope that what I just said raises more than a few eyebrows.”

Tom has been working hard on his latest band’s album. He said that the Angels & Airwaves album is autobiographical. “It’s cinematic and massive. All the songs have dramatic crescendos and huge stadium choruses,” he said. “If you slam the Cure, Pink Floyd, U2 and the Police into one band with me singing, that’s kind of what it will sound like. It’s everything you like about those little bands, but also with parts of Blink in there too.”

Tom also has a movie accompanying the album but he won’t tell details about it yet at the moment. Tom said that both album and film will tell his side of the story regarding the Blink indefinite hiatus. DeLonge has remained silent while both his former Blink182 bandmates, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker have moved on to their other endeavours.

"I love Mark and Travis to death. They were my best friends in the world, and I miss them tremendously. At the end, our priorities were mad different, and I haven't spoke to them since," he continued. "So instead of talking, I just made this album and this film. There's a story line that runs throughout it, it's autobiographical, I felt like I lost my two best friends, I lost the band I created, and I did it all for my family. And so I decided to write the album and make the movie about my life. But rather than sit there and whine, I used analogies about love and war, because that's what this whole thing was like. Playing music in the wake of the Blink thing was like finding love in the middle of a war zone."

Above statements are from Tom DeLonge and once Tom and his new band, Angels & Airwaves continue this approach, without a doubt, they can be the greatest rock and roll band ever.
